West Sumatra Earthquake (Indonesia Hot Tragedy)

In the end of 2009, Indonesia have hits by big earthquakes, the central is in West Sumatra Province (Padang).

West Sumatra rocked by an earthquake. The earthquake was magnitude 7.6 SR. The earthquake occurred on Wednesday 30 September 2009 at 17:16, according to the Meteorological and Geophysics Earthquake Climatology located at 22 Km Southwest Pariaman, West Sumatra or 0.72LS-BT 99.94.

Damage caused by the 7.6 earthquake on the Richter Scale (SR) in West Sumatra (West Sumatra) estimated the quake was more powerful than Tasikmalaya some time ago. Many houses destroyed in Padang, including hospitals. Some homes also burned, including the market was due Raya.Selain SR 7.6 earthquake in West Sumatra also cause damage to public facilities such as the Minangkabau International Airport. Airport roof in the city of Padang were reported damaged.
